Program

Planned subtopics:

  * Heliospheric propagation of CME's
  * Solar energetic particles during magnetospheric compression events
  * Magnetospheric inflation as cause of increased radiation at geosynchronous, incl. solar sources to such events
  * Ionospheric dynamics
  * Differences and similarities between CME and CIR driven storms
  * Magnetic disturbances and Dst - separation of sources
  * Model validation and improvement of model performance
  

Particular attention will be paid to the selected WP4 focus parameters.

The intention is that this should be really a WORKshop, where we in smaller groups investigate and discuss the selected events in great detail (data and modeling) on site. In between we will present our findings to the whole group, and then discuss, decide for new questions to address, maybe form new groups and repeat the process. The idea is to foster collaborations and hopefully initiate some common papers on these events.

It is important that all participant upload their relevant data/model output to the DTU secure ftp-server AND download the whole data-set immediately before the workshop.
