Due Date: 12 months, 1-10-2009

Goal

To create a catalogue of a limited of number of events including both data and modelling, covering the whole chain of events from the sun, through heliospheric propagation and solar wind magnetosphere interaction to the ionosphere. The main purpose is to initiate collaboration in between SOTERIA partners, and with other interested scientists.

Progress so far

DTU: A secure ftp-server has been set up to collect the data and model results and a procedure for data exchange/use has been established. An agreement has been reached with CCMC (Community Coordinated Modelling Center) on modelling products, and the first test model runs has been performed. A SOTERIA page has been established at the CCMC containing links to all SOTERA-CCMC model results.

ALL: The events has been selected through an election procedure, and part of the data for the first event has been uploaded to a common ftp-server. A workshop to start analyzing the first 1-3 events is planned in september.
