Goal
Utilization of photospheric data in solar and space weather analyzes; publication of the results in peer-reviewed journals.
Progress so far
Several studies were started. First results of two topics were presented at Space Climate symposium in Lapland. For further studies new cooperations started forming between WP2 members. At present four articles are in preparation relevant to the WP2 thematics, about the a)active longitudes, b) cycle strength forecast, c) torsional oscillations, d) effects of sunspot group types on total irradiance.
