Name: Collection of data and performed simulations for selected events

Beneficiaries involved: DTU, Hvar, MTA-KFKI-RMKI, KULeuven, UOulu, IEEA, NOVELTIS, LPI, ROB.
In addition there has been cross collaboration with other work packages, in particular WP3 and WP2, with respect to both event selection and compilation of the catalogue.
Due Date: 12 months
Goal
To create a catalogue and collect data for a limited of number of events including both data and modelling, covering the whole chain of events from the sun, through heliospheric propagation and solar wind magnetosphere interaction to the ionosphere.
Progress so far
The work has been completed in time as described in the delivery report D4.1
It should be mentioned that as the scientific analysis of the events progresses, more model runs may be required. Also the collaborators may decide to include new events, either events that have not yet occurred (low present solar activity) or events that would be specifically well suited to investigate specific questions further. In such cases the catalogue and data server can be updated to include new events.
