A1M2.4
Lead beneficiary: KO
Beneficiaries involved: OBSPARIS, UNIGRAZ, ROB, HVAR, UOulu
Due Date: month 20.
Goal
First publications from the planned four refereed papers on photospheric studies.
Progress so far
One paper is published in Astronomy and Astrophysics so far (HVAR), one is in print in the Journal of Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics (JASTP) (UOulu) and five papers indicating the SOTERIA support are submitted by end of the first year. HVAR and UNIGRAZ submitted two papers to Astronomy and Astrophysics. ROB submitted an introductory SOTERIA paper to JASTP. KO also submitted two manuscripts to JASTP, and one manuscript was submitted to the Astronomy and Astrophysics, its referee recommended publication with revisions.
The first published paper indicating the funding of the SOTERIA project in Acknowledgements:
Zaatri, A., Wöhl, H., Roth, M., Corbard, T., Brajša, R. (HVAR): 2009, Comparison of the sidereal angular velocity of subphotospheric layers and small bright coronal structures during the declining phase of solar cycle 23, Astronomy and Astrophysics 504, 589-594.
Zhang, L., K. Mursula, I. Usoskin and H. Wang (UOulu): 2009, Global analysis of active longitudes of solar X-ray flares, Journal of Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics, in print.
The progress is at 100% of the milestone.
